If you are staying in Búzios and you want to see the famous spots in Rio, then this is the tour for you.
Starting with pickup at the hotels in Búzios at 7am, we take the road to Rio de Janeiro. Located 180km away from Búzios, the city of Rio is famous for the beautiful contrast between the urban city buildings and the bright green of the Atlantic Forest.
We stop in front of the Maracanã Stadium and the Sambadrome to take pictures. We take the minivan through the Paineiras route to visit Christ the Redeemer. We stop for a buffet lunch (drinks and desserts not included). We visit the Escadaria Selarón and we see the beautiful shores of Rio de Janeiro (Leblon, Ipanema, Copacabana).
Then, we return to Búzios to take everyone back to their hotel.

Itinerary
- Enjoy the 3-hour ride from Buzios to Rio. Relax, enjoy the view and listen to the information provided by the tour guide. (3h 0min)
- The Christ the Redeemer is one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. We take the minivan through the Tijuca Forest to reach the statue. (2h 0min) Admission included
- The Sambodromo is the Carnival Temple and the place we compete every year in the biggest celebration of carnival in the planet. The place is temporarily closed due to the coronavirus pandemic. We will take pictures in the outside area. (30 min)
- Football - or soccer, if you prefer - is part of the Brazilian life. We love to watch the games and share experiences with complete strangers that get together for one purpose: support their team on the field. The Maracanã Stadium is considered our temple and a sacred place for those who enjoy a great game. The place is temporarily closed due to the coronavirus pandemic. We will take pictures in the outside area.
- The modern archtecture is very different from the traditional cathedrals we see out there. Enjoy the beautiful stained glasses and try to guess the biblical passages they got their inspiration from. (30 min)
- Located in Downtown, the Selarón Steps are famous for its bright and colourfull tiles. (30 min)
- After a busy day, relax and enjoy the ride back to Búzio. Transfer time: approx. 3 hours. (3h 0min)
