Giant's Causeway Tour with Game of Thrones Sites from Belfast

Spend a memorable day visiting what is undoubtedly Northern Ireland's most infamous attraction. Travel by coach on a journey you will remember for a lifetime, taking in the spectacular natural beauty that is the Antrim Coastal Road, Carrickfergus Castle, Portaneevy Viewing Point to see the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge (Due to National Trust Staffing Issues they will not accept coaches or group bookings but we are supporting our local community), the Giant's Causeway, and the Game of Thrones locations, including the Dark Hedges and we even do a visit to the Old Bushmills Whiskey Distillery for a chance to buy a whiskey and take some photos plus much much more. This tour travels the entire coast road from Belfast which is a must-see area of outstanding natural beauty. Not all tours to the Causeway include this but is widely known to be the best route to the Causeway. To leave this out of your tour would be a big loss!! Before we return to Belfast we will have a chance to see Dunluce castle

Itinerary

1. Short Photo Stop Carrickfergus Castle (from the Irish Carraig Ḟergus or "cairn of Fergus", the name "Fergus" meaning "strong man") is a Norman castle in Northern Ireland, situated in the town of Carrickfergus in County Antrim, on the northern shore of Belfast Lough. (20 min)
2. We will be travelling along the fantastic Antrim coast road with the Irish sea on our right and the Glens of Antrim on the left of the coach.
3. We will be passing the spectacular Glens of Antrim and even climbing Glencorp And crossing the Glen Dun Bridge before climbing to the top of GlenDun and then descending into the town of Ballycastle
4. We will be stopping at Portaneevy Viewing Point to see the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge. (20 min)
5. Our last stop of the day before returning to Belfast is a stop at the amazing Dark Hedges. (20 min)
6. We will visit the distillery where you can purchase a whiskey or even a whole bottle to take home (30 min)
7. The highlight of the day is our stop to the giants causeway its self where you will be able to walk across the stones themselves. Visitors Centre price is not included. (1h 30min)
8. Finally we will have a chance to see the famous Dunluce Castle perched on top of a cliff with crashing waves below also a Game of thrones location and originally home to the Mac Donnell Clan (5 min)
