Retro Tours Norway is a company offering city tours in Oslo using retro styled motorbikes with sidecars. We can carry up to 2 passengers per bike so If you want to experience the sites and sounds of this beautiful city in a different and unique way come and give it a try. You won’t regret it!
Your rider/guide will start by taking you through the city centre, passing Stortinget (Parliament Building) and the Royal Palace. From the Palace we will continue up to the Holmenkollen Ski Jump Centre. Here you will see some great views of Oslo and surrounding fjord. We will then visit Vigelands Parken, the site of over 200 bronze and granite sculptures created by Gustav Vigeland. Next we continue to Bygdøy, the site of several museums including Kon-Tiki, Fram, Viking Ships and Folk museums.
In addition to our 2 hour tours we can also offer bespoke tours on request. (1-3 hour tours, half or full day tours and group bookings available).

What's included
- Helmets are mandatory and always included. We also provide gloves and cagoules should it be required. Strongly recommend wearing suitable clothing for your tour.

Itinerary
- Our first stop will be The Norwegian Parliament Building (Stortinget) alongside Karl Johans Gate, Oslo’s famous shopping street. This provides an excellent opportunity see the Parliament Building and browse some of Karl Johans Gate shops and cafes. (10 min)
- As part of one of our city tours we will pass by the Palace and it’s grounds. Available to stop here if requested, (10 min)
- You will experience a fantastic ride through Oslo up to the Holmenkollen Ski Jump Centre and get close up views of the ski jump tower and arena as well as excellent panoramic views of Oslo and surrounding fjord. The ski museum is located next to the Holmenkollen ski jump and showcases over 4000 years of skiing history. For those requiring refreshments Frognerseter offers food and drinks with more fantastic views over the city and Oslo Fjord. (10 min)
- We can stop off at Vigelands Parken should you wish to see some of the sculptures created by Gustav Vigeland (1869-1943). This is a 32 acre public park containing over 200 bronze and granite sculptures depicting human beings of different ages, sexes and sizes. The Frogner Stadium and open air pool are also located within the park. If you like roses then it’s also worth noting you will find Norway’s largest collection here with over 150 species totalling over 40,000 plants. (15 min)
- Finally we head for the Bygdøy peninsula which is a great tourist attraction for those who like museums. This is where The Kontiki, Fram, Maritime, Viking ships and Folk museums are located as well as the Royal summerhouse. Should you wish to stay and visit any of the museums you can return to Aker Brygge via the regular ferry service (departs close to The Kontiki museum). Admission fees to museums and attractions not included. (20 min)
