7-Hour Join tour - Jiufen Village & Shifen Town

Jiufen and Shifen are two of the most popular destinations for a day trip from Taipei.
Jiufen is famous for its nostalgic atmosphere and stunning mountain views. Enjoying a cup of Taiwanese tea at a traditional teahouse is definitely a must-do experience while visiting. Shifen, another charming old town that is well known for its railway tracks and sky lantern tradition. Visitors can stroll along the old railway and release their own sky lanterns with wishes written on them. During Weekends & Holidays: There will be traffic control during weekends and holidays. All guests are required to take the Jiufen shuttle to Jiufen Old Street, which only takes 10 minutes to arrive. Please prepare an Easycard with at least NT$30 value in it, or bring a total of NT$30 in cash (NT$15 for one way) for paying the shuttle bus ticket.

Itinerary

1. The street runs alongside active train tracks, lined with shops selling traditional snacks and souvenirs. It is a dream place where you can enjoy the sky lantern activity at your own expense. Write down your wishes on the sky lanterns and release it into the sky to have an unforgettable memories. (50 min)
2. Often called the "Little Niagara of Taiwan," Shifen Waterfall is Taiwan’s widest waterfall. The water’s powerful flow and mist create beautiful rainbows on sunny days, adding a magical touch to the experience. (50 min)
3. You can stroll in its old cobblestone street and witness the historical period of gold mining during Japanese colonial age. Now Jiufen’s streets and architecture retain a distinctly nostalgic atmosphere, making it one of Taiwan's most popular tourist destinations. (2h 30min)
