The tour departs from Dunedin City Centre, just outside the Dunedin Visitor Centre.   1. See the heart of the city, St Paul's Cathedral, Robbie Burns Statue (5 min)
  2. This stop is for a photo opportunity. Please note that the church is currently closed, so it’s an opportunity to admire its beauty from the outside. (5 min)
  3. Stop for a photo or a quick walk up the street that used to be the steepest one in the world till July 2019 (10 min)
  4. Stop at Signal hill to marvel beautiful panorama of Dunedin and surroundings (10 min)
  5. Enjoy a short guided stroll at Dunedin upper Botanic garden to see seasonal plants in flower, marvel gigantic rhododendrons, spot New Zealand native birds and view bird aviaries (20 min) Admission included
  6. Visit one of Dunedin's oldest cemeteries and learn about the notable individuals buried there. You'll hear the story of William Larnach and have the opportunity to take a photo of his family tomb. Please note that access is subject to availability, as the narrow road may sometimes make it difficult to navigate. We reserve the right to skip this stop if necessary.
  7. Check out the oldest New Zealand University - Otago University (5 min)
  8. Stop at the most photographed building in New Zealand - Dunedin Railway station and hear the story about it. (10 min)
