Itinerary

1. During your journey, you’ll pass by the magnificent Campanile, an iconic landmark at the entrance to the railway station and docks on Strand Street. Built to commemorate the arrival of the 1820 British Settlers, this striking example of Italian architecture stands as a free-standing monument, leaving a lasting impression on Port Elizabeth’s historic landscape.
2. As you continue your journey, you’ll encounter the remarkable Alexandria Dune Field, one of South Africa’s natural wonders. This vast coastal dune system, the largest and least disturbed in the southern hemisphere, stretches over 80 km long and up to 5 km wide, covering around 15,800 hectares.
