Antigua Heritage and Horizon Tour
See the whole island in one day: East, South, & West coasts plus Rainforest in a AC vehicle. What sets the Antigua 360° Heritage & Horizon tour apart is the total island coverage and the luxury of privacy. Unlike standard tours that only visit one area, we take you on a complete loop of the island, visiting the rugged Atlantic East Coast, the historic UNESCO South, and the turquoise Caribbean West Coast in a single day. You won’t be crowded on a bus with 30 strangers. This is a experience in a clean, air-conditioned vehicle where YOU set the pace. We include the lush Fig Tree Drive rainforest—a scenic route most tours skip—and provide a local perspective you can’t get anywhere else. With AJ’s Taxi, you get a dedicated guide, a flexible schedule, and a "Cruise-Safe" guarantee to ensure you’re back to the ship on time, every time.

Itinerary

  1. Betty's Hope • Description: Start your journey into Antigua's heart at the island's first large-scale sugar plantation. Established in 1674, this historic site features two beautifully restored stone windmills. It is a powerful place to learn about the island’s colonial history and the resilience of its people. (30 min)
  2. Devil's Bridge • Description: Witness the raw power of the Atlantic Ocean. This natural limestone arch was carved out over centuries by crashing waves. It’s a breathtaking spot for photos and a must-see natural wonder on the rugged East Coast. (20 min)
  3. Shirley Heights • Description: Take in the "Postcard View" of Antigua. Standing 490 feet above sea level, you’ll have a panoramic view of English Harbour and Falmouth Harbour. On a clear day, you can even see the volcano on Montserrat. This is the most famous lookout in the Caribbean! (1h 0min)
  4. Nelson's Dockyard • Description: Explore a UNESCO World Heritage site. This is the world’s only working Georgian-era Dockyard. Walk among the beautifully restored 18th-century buildings, visit the naval museum, and see the luxury yachts docked where Admiral Nelson once commanded. (1h 0min)
  5. Fig Tree Drive (Rainforest) • Description: Enjoy a lush, tropical drive through the heart of Antigua’s rainforest. You’ll see towering mango and mahogany trees, ancient ferns, and local fruit stalls selling our famous "Antigua Black" pineapples. It is the most scenic drive on the island. (45 min)
  6. 6. Valley Church Beach (or Darkwood Beach) • Description: Finish your 360° loop on the West Coast, famous for its calm, turquoise waters and powder-white sand. Whether you want to take a final dip in the sea or just relax with a drink at a beach bar, this is the perfect end to your island adventure. (1h 0min)
