Itinerary

  1. We will start this tour from the cruise ports in Puerto Quetzal or at Marina Pez Vela, where your cruise ship docks. There, we will pick up all our passengers and begin our journey to the Town of Pastores, less than 5 minutes from Antigua Guatemala. Getting to Pastores will take us about an hour and a half, so just sit back, relax, and enjoy the trip and the changing views where you will see many crops of different types such as sugar cane, corn, vegetables, and more. (1h 30min)
  2. Pastores is a small town close to Antigua Guatemala. People from this town are dedicated to elaborating high-end handicrafts, especially artisanal boots. On this tour, we´ll visit the giant boot monument at the entrance of the town and the best boot stores. Have the chance to learn about the long process it takes to create the cowboy boots, the exotic materials used, and the different final products they create as belts, wallets, purses but especially BOOTS. (1h 30min)
  3. After we visit the leather boots town, we will go to Antigua Guatemala to have a delicious lunch. Enjoy your free time at the restaurant, and then we will start a short city tour in Antigua. We'll visit the most iconic locations in Antigua, such as Central Park, the cathedral, the General's Palace, the municipality hall, Santa Catalina's Arch, and La Merced Church. Lunchtime will be 1 hour and the city tour will be 1.5 hours. (3h 0min)
  4. After lunch, we will start our trip back to the cruise port where your ship is located. You will arrive safely and on time back to your cruise. (1h 30min)
