Itinerary

1. You will hear how a one acre farm grew to become a world class research institution and those who made Harvard influential, wealthy, and prestigious. (30 min)
2. Neighborhood in Boston from where the rich and powerful ruled the city for two centuries. Optional stops for pictures and exploration. (10 min)
3. Created on the sight of a grain store house because there was no more space available at The Kings Chapel Burial Ground, where many patriots are buried. (10 min)
4. First Anglican Church and oldest burial ground in Boston. (10 min)
5. Originally the location of The Latin School, first free public school in America. Across the street from The oldest hotel in town, The Parker House and behind the historic King's Chapel and Burial Ground. (10 min)
6. An early Congregational church and meeting place for The Sons of Liberty, later desecrated by British Dragoons (Mounted Infantry). (10 min)
7. The oldest outdoor market in America and Boston's first town hall. (10 min)
8. The seat of government for Massachusetts as a colony and later a state. The scene of the Boston massacre and reading of The Declaration of Independence. (10 min)
