Best of Trieste Guided Walking Tour
Discover the charms of Trieste on this 2 hour walking tour with us. We are Jerome and Eugenia, partners in work and in life, and it will be our pleasure to guide you through this beautiful city. We’ll discover why Trieste is called the city of wind and the unofficial capital of coffee. We’ll begin our journey at the Piazza Unità d’Italia, one of Europe’s largest sea-facing squares, surrounded by magnificent neoclassical palaces. Wander the narrow streets to the ancient Roman Theatre, a testament to the city’s ancient past. We’ll walk up the hill of San Giusto (elevator available) and visit the Cathedral, the historical heart of the town. We’ll descend via the area where the former Jewish ghetto once stood. Continue through to the Borgo Teresiano district, with its imperial Grand Canal. Perfect for anyone looking to experience the eclectic charm of this coastal city. We can adapt the itinerary to your interests and needs. Note: Tour duration includes walking time.
