Itinerary

  1. Once we pick up all our customers, we will head to our tour site to drop off all participants by the check-in area for their tour to start.
  2. We will start our tour from Bahia Fajardo where travelers will follow our guide through a mangrove channel to the Bioluminescent Bay. (20 min)
  3. Leaving the channel and entering the lagoon by itself is a breathtaking experience! A wide expanse of gentle, rippling water surrounded by mangrove forests greets the adventurer, the mountains of the El Yunque Rainforest tower in the distance – profound tranquility envelopes all who enter! (45 min)
  4. Take view of the Fajardo Lighthouse, built by the Spanish in the 19th century, and of course, the incredible natural phenomenon that we’re here for – the shimmering glow of bioluminescence as you dip your paddles and glide through the sparkling water – an amazingly unique experience only found in few places on earth! (15 min)
  5. A wide expanse of gentle, rippling water surrounded by mangrove forests greets the adventurer, the mountains of the El Yunque Rainforest tower in the distance – profound tranquility envelopes all who enter! (20 min)
  6. We make our way back to the starting point through the mangrove channel. (20 min)
  7. We arrive back at the starting point where we will be returning all equipment.

  • Glow factor: We cannot control sea and weather conditions, so we DO NOT WARRANTY that the glow on the bay will be present at all times. Please contact us to get further information on expected conditions.
  • Pick-Up Policy: Pick up starts 3 hours to 3 hours and 30 minutes prior to the selected tour schedule depending on the amount of stops the driver must complete. Your timely pick-up is important to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all guests. Please be ready at the main entrance of your designated pick-up location at the relative pick-up time. Your driver will wait up to 5 minutes before proceeding to the next location. If you miss your pick-up, you will be responsible for making your own way to the tour site to join the experience. We recommend planning ahead and being ready a few minutes early to avoid missing the adventure!
