Dominated by an imposing mid-19th-century fortress built by Austro-Hungarian General Lazar Mamula, little island used to guard the bay from enemy intrusion. Though we won’t stop here, you’ll enjoy a scenic view of this fascinating landmark as we pass by on the water.
4. Discover the intriguing submarine tunnels located along the Lustica Peninsula. These tunnels were once used by the Yugoslav Navy to secretly shelter submarines and smaller vessels from view.
