Chania to Heraklio & Knossos Private Tour (price per group of 6)

Knossos is the heart of the Minoan civilization, the first civilization in Europe dating from 3000BC. I will transfer you from Chania to Knossos at Heraklio with 1-2 stops for 2-2,5 hours. Depending on your interest we can visit either an oil factory or Armeni Minoan cemetery near Rethymno. Will visit Knossos for more than an hour, then drive to the archaeological museum and spend another hour inside. We will have lunch for an hour and then drive back to Chania for 2-2,5 hours. This is private transfer only. If you wish a guide inside Knossos it will be 200 euro more. please message us for such request. We will provide the driving and talk about Cretan history, culture, traditions and life. Entrance fee for Knossos archaeological site and the museum are paid separately by guests.

Itinerary

1. The archaeological site of Knossos is the birthplace of Minoan civilisation. I do not have a licence to guide inside, you will visit it by yourself, I will wait outside. You will buy a combined ticket with the archaeological museum for 15 euro and visit the site for 1 hour. (1h 0min)
2. You will visit the archaeological museum of Heraklio for 1 hour and admire exhibits dating from 3000BC. I do not have a license to guide inside, you will visit it by yourself, I will wait outside. The combined ticket with Knossos is 15 euro. (1h 0min)
3. Optional visit to Armeni Minoan cemetery or traditional Oil factory. 5 euro entrance per person for the cemetery. (45 min)
4. Optional visit to Milopetres traditional Oil factory or Armeni Minoan cemetery. 25 euro per person for olive oil tasting and tour (1h 0min)
