1. The starting point of the tour. A special place remembering the earthquakes that significantly changed the city we see today. (5 min)
2. A bustling farmers market with international food stalls plus laneways of boutique stores and restaurants.
3. The main shopping hub of the central city including the iconic Ballantynes Department store.
4. Not your ordinary bus exchange, this 4 Green Star rated building features state of the art technology and architecture. (5 min)
5. Home to Christ Church Cathedral, Citizens War Memorial, The Chalice, Old Chief Post Office and much, much more. (15 min)
6. More than just books, this central city library is home to many learning opportunities in an impressive building.
7. The heart of Christchurch's performing arts scene since 1971 now in its brand new 2025 home.
8. New Zealand's only fully operational Edwardian-style theatre.
9. Take a stroll down this Spanish Mission style street of boutique stores, restaurants, bars and cafes.
