Itinerary

1. Pick up from your hotel accommodation and drive through Christchurch Centre and head out towards Sumner Village, where you can enjoy your morning coffee before starting your big day. (45 min)
2. Further down the road, enjoy the Canterbury Plains and Southern Alps from the Port Hills. The Port Hills are a range of hills in Canterbury, New Zealand, so named because they lie between the city of Christchurch and its port at Lyttelton. They are an eroded remnant of the Lyttelton volcano, which erupted millions of years ago. (15 min)
3. The Cardboard Cathedral, formally called the Transitional Cathedral, in Christchurch, New Zealand, is the transitional pro-cathedral of the Anglican Diocese of Christchurch, replacing ChristChurch Cathedral, which was significantly damaged in the 2011 Christchurch earthquake. (15 min)
4. The Bridge of Remembrance is one of two main war memorials in Christchurch, New Zealand. It is dedicated to those who died in World War I, and serves as a memorial for those who participated in two World Wars as well as subsequent conflicts in Borneo, Korea, Malaya, and Vietnam. (15 min)
