Douro Valley Premium Small-Group Tour: Wine, Lunch & Cruise

The tour begins with a visit to a port wine producer: Quinta da Roêda. There will be a personalized guided tour on the vineyards where the process of making the port wine will be explained. The wine tasting will be accompanied by a careful selection of Portuguese cheeses. After tasting, we will embark 1 hour boat ride where the calm of the river will inspire us. This soothing ride is the best time to contemplate the landscape and nature of the Douro Valley. Lunch is served in a beautiful farm overlooking to the vineyards where there are several food options: fish, meat or vegetarian. Everything are included in the price. The second winery is a small table wine producer, It will be an interesting opportunity to have more contact with the locals. The visit ends with an olive oil tasting.

Itinerary

1. The pickup will be made at a pick-up point in the city of Porto, the journey to the Douro Valley is about 1h30 minutes.
2. Visit to Quinta do Panascal where we will take a tour to the vineyards and a tasting of 3 Port wines. (1h 0min) Admission included
3. One-hour trip on a typical wooden boat from Pinhão. (1h 0min) Admission included
4. Brief passage through the village of Pinhão in the heart of the Douro Valley.
5. Passing through the Pinhão train station.
6. Lunch in a winery with a choice of fish, meat or vegetarian dishes. Panoramic view of the vineyards. (1h 30min) Admission included
7. Visit to a local producer where we will taste table wines, olive oil and honey. Excellent time for interaction with the locals. (1h 30min)
8. Return to the city of Porto with drop-off at the pick-up point.
