Hi everyone, I’m Jonny. I recently started my own small tour company because I love sharing the Douro Valley in a relaxed and authentic way. My idea is simple: focus on quality, not quantity. We work with small local producers and family-run wineries, and we take the day at a comfortable pace — just as a day in the Douro should feel when you're on holiday. During the tour we visit a family winery for a wine tasting, enjoy a traditional Portuguese lunch at another local winery, and take a relaxing boat ride on the Douro River with beautiful views over the vineyards. Along the way we stop at some of the best viewpoints for photos and there is always time to simply enjoy the landscape. Tours may be conducted in English, German, or both depending on the group — think of it as a small group road trip through the Douro Valley. Hope to see you soon, Jonny

Itinerary

  1. Pickup of our guests at the Hotel or the Meating Point for our Douro Wine Tour!
  2. Authentic wine experiences at regional wineries in the heart of the Douro Valley. (1h 30min)
  3. Relax on a scenic Douro River cruise, with stunning views of vineyards and valley landscapes all around. (50 min)
  4. Sightseeing stop to enjoy amazing views over the the Douro. (15 min)
  5. We’ll enjoy a traditional Portuguese lunch, followed by a visit to a small, family-run winery where we’ll taste some of their wines together. (1h 30min)
  6. On this Douro Wine Tour, we travel along the famous National Road 222, passing terraced vineyards, picturesque villages, and rolling hills while enjoying the peaceful beauty of this UNESCO World Heritage landscape.
