Itinerary
- Visit Stirling Castle, learn the history of the kings and queens, hear the tales of battles and marvel at the immaculate grounds within the castle walls. Cobbled stones and views over the city of Stirling, it’s easy to understand why this is a firm favourite amongst visitors. (1h 30min)
- Known as The Gateway to the Highlands, Callander is an extremely pretty tourist town. Bursting with coffee shops, gifts shops – and of course a fantastic whisky shop – the first stop on this tour will get you ready for everything that’s to come. You can also take a stroll along the River Teith which flows along the edge of the town, with spectacular views of Ben Ledi and the Craggs behind the town. (1h 0min)
- Possibly one of Scotland’s most beautiful drives, Dukes Pass will lead you through the winding hills of the Trossachs. (30 min)
- Aberfoyle is a picturesque village on the banks of the River Forth in the beautiful Queen Elizabeth Forest Park. (1h 0min)
- The bonnie banks of Loch Lomond are truly a sight to see. Surrounding the loch-side are towering mountains and ‘The Ben’ looking down over the Loch. (1h 0min)
- One of the best places to marvel at the waters of Loch Lomond, Balmaha is a beautiful spot. Get your picture taken next to the Tom Weir Statue with his bobble hat. Tom Weir is one of the most famous Scottish climbers, TV presenters and authors. There’s also a fantastic coffee shop if you fancy a wee coffee and cake! (1h 0min)
