Electric Bike Group Tour - Port Canaveral & Cocoa Beach
Electric scooters, or e-bikes as the industry calls them, are a blast!  After getting a brief intro on e-biking and getting comfortable, you'll depart on this group tour from the shop and ride through the Port Canaveral area and Cocoa Beach.  This is a casual ride and your e-bike can do all the work for you.  If you want the exercise, ride the bike under your own power, its your choice!  But know this, our bikes can power themselves and go up to 20mph for up to 35 miles!  Stops will include: • Manatee Sanctuary Park • Ports End Park • Jetty Park • Cocoa Beach Pier • Ron Jon Surf Shop If your group is thirsty, we can stop at any local pub including our local micro-breweries.  Our itinerary is flexible, being safe and having fun are the only priorities.  At the end of the trip, we'll return to our shop.  There is plenty of parking on site.

Itinerary

  1. This is our brick and mortar retail store, and starting and termination point for bike and ebike tours. Restrooms, safe parking, tour accessories, refreshments, are all available here. (5 min)
  2. Although each tour is a little different, We plan to ride through Port Canaveral, see the cruise ships fishing boats, Exploration tower and ride out to jetty park, an oceanfront park with a pier we can explore. (30 min)
  3. At this stop, we will spend a few minutes walking out to the pier, take some photos, maybe purchase a souvenir and if time is on our side, maybe have a refreshment. (15 min)
  4. This popular park has great sights, and has great photo opportunities overlooking the lagoon Where we often see mannity's and dolphins and other wildlife. It's also our first opportunity to use the restroom. (15 min)
  5. A common stop but not required, is the world's largest surf shop, Ron Jon's. This is another photo opportunity and a great place to buy a souvenir or aperral. (15 min)
  6. Jetty park is the corner where the port meets the ocean and offers outstanding views of the beach and the port and the Canaveral Air Station. It's a great place to watch rocket launches, and see cruise ships coming going, and occasionally even a rocket coming in on a barge, and on rare occasions we'll catch a nuclear trident submarine headed into base. We usually walk out on the pier here and see what the local fisherman are catching. (15 min)
  7. Upon discussion and age-appropriate, we will stop for a refreshment at the local microbrew. Either at this location or one of the other local watering holes. (15 min)
