Itinerary

1. Your journey begins with a private transfer service. You will be greeted by an Expert, English-speaking driver-guide with a deep knowledge of Sicilian history and traditions, guaranteeing dedicated assistance. Pick-up service for the start of the tour is available at Catania, Taormina, Messina, nearby areas and directly at the port embarkation piers. 2. In Zafferana Etnea there is a stop at a typical local farm, with tasting of different types of Etna honey, produced from pollen characteristic of the territory. The experience also includes the tasting of selected typical products. (30 min)
3. Climb by car through the lava landscapes of Mount Etna to Rifugio Sapienza (about 2,000 m). A visit to the Silvestri Craters and a lava flow cave is planned, with time available to admire the view. Short optional walks are possible. (30 min) Admission included
4. At Rifugio Sapienza there is a break with tasting of typical local chocolate. The refuge, located at about 2,000 meters above sea level, is one of the main access points to the summit area of Etna. During the stop you will be able to walk on the volcanic soil, touch the lava rocks and enjoy wide panoramic views, which allow you to appreciate the unique landscape and the extension of the surrounding territory.
