Itinerary

  1. This tour starts with pick up at 7am in your hotel, we will reach to Gamboa port to take a boat and navigate along the iconic Panama canal right next to the big ships crossing the Panama canal from Athlantic to Pacific. We will admire the fauna and vegetation of the tropical forest, as well as the Monkey Island where you can spot them in their natural habitat. (3h 0min) Admission included

Now we go back to the car and visit the newest locks - Agua Clara Locks, this Visitor Center allows you to observe transiting vessels from a scenic lookout point and learn first hand of the New Panama Canal, in addition you can also see a documentary on the history and construction of the new Canal. (2h 0min) Admission included
  3. Taste a delicious local lunch (fish, shrimps) in the beautiful Shelter Bay next the marine. (Lunch not included in price around $25USD pp) (1h 0min)
  4. Finally, We'll go to discover Fort San Lorenzo National Park, where we can visit a remote rainforest full of flora and fauna, followed by a tour to Fort San Lorenzo, a 400-year-old Spanish fort on a scenic cliff overlooking the Caribbean. Here, we recount the many attacks by pirates and privateers that happened at one of the most historically important places in Panama. (1h 0min) Admission included
  5. Once we finish our tour of the fort, we return to Panama City for hotel drop-off. (1h 0min)
