Full-Day Blue Lagoon Tour in Dominican Republic

In addition to the Dudú Lagoon, a few minutes away you can find the Blue Lagoon (“Laguna Azul” in Spanish), whose water will draw you in. It’s a natural freshwater pool that’s so crystal clear that it’s easy to see the bottom and invites you to go for a refreshing swim. Itinerary

1. In the north of the Dominican Republic , between Rio San Juan and Nagua, lies the town of Cabrera, near the beautiful lagoon El Dudu, which makes little advertising. 2. Located about 1km east of town, this small, peaceful bay with tawny sand, almond trees and towering palms is a good place to spend an afternoon. (1h 0min)
3. Here you will stop for lunch and have time to enjoy of the crystal clear water and of this golden sandy beach . On the Ámbar coast, near Río San Juan, one of the most beautiful beaches in the country and the longest on the North coast that bears its name very well. It has a wide strip of golden sand for several kilometers bordered by coconut trees, where one can isolate oneself. Before it was the favorite destination of the Dominicans during the weekends and now it is surrounded by large hotel complexes. But it is still accessible to visitors, who come from afar to enjoy its transparent waters. Restaurants, bars and musicians enliven the central part. To be calmer, it is best to go in the afternoon.
