- Your interpreter guide will be waiting with a name board. We will take a train for about one hour to Nakatsugawa. (1h 20min) Admission included
- I'm taking the bus to Magome. (30 min) Admission included
- The post town sits on a sloped area that stretches for about 600 meters. The road is paved with stones, and lined with houses that evoke the richness of Japan's history. Take a stroll around Magome where visitors will find a large waterwheel, old Japanese folk houses, historical stone monuments, and more. After exploring Magome, you will take a bus to the starting point of the trekking route. (2h 0min)
- The tour will walk approximately 3.3 kilometers along the Nakasendo Trail which connects the 2 beautiful post towns of Magome and Tsumago. The tour will take a stroll while enjoying the beautiful valley and rural area scenery with stone-paved streets and Japanese cedar trees. *Due to disaster recovery work being conducted on sections of the Nakasendo Trail, the walking experience may be canceled, and transportation for part or all of this section of the tour may be made via bus.
