Itinerary

  1. This is where you journey will start by meeting your private tour guide and owner Luke Beckmann. We will correspond with you via Whatsapp or email a day before collection to find out exactly where to collect you. You will be travelling in a SUV where bottled water will be provided. Our tour starts with a drive through Cape Town CBD while pointing out the Castle of Good Hope and District 6. (30 min)
  2. Begin your day in the colorful heart of Cape Town’s heritage — Bo-Kaap. We visit the well-known museum and wander its iconic cobblestone streets lined with brightly painted houses and immerse your client in the rich Cape Malay culture. Expect vibrant history, spice-fragrant bakeries, traditional eateries, and plenty of picture-perfect moments. Bo-Kaap’s story is deeply rooted in centuries of community identity and resilience, making this a rich cultural start to your journey. (30 min) Admission included
  3. We skip the queue and take the fast-track cable car up Table Mountain, Cape Town’s most famous natural landmark. From the summit there are unparalleled panoramic views of the city below, the shimmering Atlantic Ocean, and the vast Cape Peninsula. Whether leisurely exploring the plateau’s boardwalks or snapping sweeping skyline shots, this stop showcases Cape Town’s dramatic geography — and often its famous cloud “tablecloth” draping the summit. (1h 30min) Admission included
  4. Head to the warm, gently rolling shores of Muizenberg Beach, a beloved seaside village on False Bay. Recognized as one of Cape Town’s top surfing spots, this long sandy bay offers relaxed vibes, colorful beach huts, and (weather permitting) the chance to catch a wave or watch surfers in action. It’s a perfect contrast to the mountain vistas — sunny, breezy, and refreshingly laid-back. (30 min)
  5. Next up, explore the South African Naval Museum in historic Simon’s Town. This maritime museum delves into South Africa’s naval past, with displays of artifacts, ship models, and stories of seafaring heritage. The location itself offers charming harbour views and a quiet insight into the region’s strategic maritime importance. (45 min) Admission included
  6. Just a short drive away, visit Boulders Beach — one of the few places in the world where endangered African penguins reside in a protected natural setting. Wander boardwalks that bring you close to these charismatic birds as they waddle, swim, and sunbathe beside granite boulders. The sheltered inlets here create calm swimming spots and unforgettable wildlife encounters. (1h 0min) Admission included
  7. Continue to the dramatic cliffs of Cape Point, part of the Table Mountain National Park. From the base, a scenic funicular or short hike brings you to the Cape Point Lighthouse, perched above roaring ocean waves. Expect stunning coastal views, rugged landscapes, and the palpable sense of standing at one of Africa’s most iconic headlands where the ocean spreads wide before you. This is also an amazing place to sit down for lunch (2h 0min) Admission included
  8. After Cape Point, your journey curves along one of the world’s most breathtaking coastal routes — Chapman’s Peak Drive. This engineering marvel hugs cliff edges above the Atlantic Ocean, with lookouts perfect for panoramic photos. The ascent and descent offer a continuous sensory feast of ocean expanses, steep mountainsides, and horizon views that linger long after the drive is over. (30 min) Admission included
  9. Stop in at Hout Bay Harbour, a lively fishing port nestled between mountains and sea. The harbour buzzes with activity — fishing boats, local seafood stalls, and artisan stalls. It’s a great place for your client to stretch their legs, enjoy fresh ocean air, and perhaps sample local cuisine with a view of anchored boats and distant ocean horizon. (30 min)
  10. Cruise the scenic Twelve Apostles Mountain Drive along Cape Town’s Atlantic coast. This stretch of rugged peaks — part of the Table Mountain range — offers dramatic backdrops and striking contrasts between steep cliffs and turquoise waters below. With light beginning to soften later in the day, it’s an ideal time for panoramic snapshots and reflective moments before concluding the day. (30 min) Admission included
  11. Cap off the day at the iconic V&A Waterfront, Cape Town’s most visited destination. Set against the working harbour and Table Mountain backdrop, this vibrant hub offers upscale shopping, waterfront dining, and lively entertainment. It’s a great spot for dinner, a sunset stroll, or a relaxed wind-down with coffee or cocktails as your private tour draws to a close. Guests are also welcome to conclude their tour here and we then say our goodbyes. (1h 0min) Admission included
  12. This is where we say our final goodbyes. Guests are dropped off at their hotel of choice. We hope we brought the best out of your Cape Town experience (20 min)
