- Our guests can enjoy breathtaking views of: Greater and Lesser Flamingos – Large flocks wading gracefully in the shallow waters. Other Birdlife – Pelicans, cormorants, sandpipers, and more migratory birds. Thereafter we will proceed to the Walvis Bay Salt Factory where you aslo find the famous pink lake.At Walvis Bay Pink Lake, see vibrant pink waters, see how salt is harvested in the area. The route then takes you to Pelican Point, a scenic sandspit home to a large Cape fur seal colony. Here, you can observe seals basking in the sun and playful pups in the water while enjoying breathtaking ocean views. (2h 0min)
- From Pelican Point, the tour continues along the coastline toward Sandwich Harbour, where the towering dunes of the Namib Desert meet the Atlantic Ocean.
