Fly in a helicopter to stay at a private heated yurt at the edge of the Bear Glacier Lagoon. There are two yurts available, each with a queen size bed. On site staff will provide all food, and is available to give guided hikes, make a camp fire in the evenings with s'mores as set up games for entertainment. Guided kayaking at no additional charge! This is an all inclusive experience, just bring a small overnight bag and enjoy the Alaskan outdoors. This is a beautiful location for a restful getaway in nature.

Itinerary

  1. Guests will view Bear Glacier with its blue pools, cravessas and blue ice as they fly to the yurt at the edge of the Bear Glacier Lagoon.
  2. Fly over the Kenai Fjords National Park, where you may see waterfalls, valleys and mountain ranges. Guests have the opportunity to look for wildlife such as mountain goats, bald eagles, harbor seals and bears.
  3. Weather depending the pilot will fly the coast line along of Resurrection Bay to or from the yurts. This is a great place to look for mountain goats.
