This tour is unique in that you hike (moderate level with a few 8 minutes inclines) in old-growth forest along Snoqualmie River for a couple of hours to view a gorgeous cascade of falls, Twin Falls. The trail is 3 miles in total. Then followed by viewing another beautiful fall that we drive to - the famous 270-foot tall Snoqualmie Falls. You also see a beautiful lake with views of the surrounding mountains often reflected in the lake. There is lots of diversity on this half day tour from Seattle.

Itinerary

  1. We then drive to the majestic Snoqualmie Falls which are 270 feet tall and see the falls from a few platforms followed by driving through Snoqualmie town with the extravagant old depot from 1890 and historic locomotives. Before returning to Seattle we stop at Borst Lake, where Mount Si is often reflected. (1h 30min)
  2. This half day tour is a combination of a 2-hour moderate hike (a few inclines for about five minutes at a time) to the Twin Falls and a visit to an old logging town, Snoqualmie with its famous Snoqualmie Falls nearby. I will pick you up in downtown Seattle and drive eastward for about 30 minutes until we arrive at the trailhead in Olallie State Park. We will hike in old growth forest along Snoqualmie Lower River to the Twin Falls and the Upper Falls, which are a beautiful cascade of waterfalls. After the hike we drive through North Bend, where the diner from the popular tv show "Twin Peaks" is located, to the old historic logging town, Snoqualmie. (3h 0min) Admission included
  3. Pick up and drop off is in the center of downtown Seattle.
  4. Alternatively, pick up and drop off near the Space Needle, if requested.
  5. We drive through the old historic logging town of Snoqualmie where many old steam engines are left behind on the train tracks.
  6. We drive on the big floating bridge across Lake Washington on the way to the falls.
  7. We drive through the logging town of North Bend where the popular TV- show, Twin Peaks was filmed in the 1990s.
