Haines Spirit Trail - Culture, History, & Beverage Walking Tour

Taste of Haines helps visitors experience the town through its local businesses, beverages, scenery, and stories. Our goal is to create a welcoming and memorable adventure that feels personal, polished, and rooted in the character of Haines. 1) More than a tasting Enjoy a curated experience that blends beverages, history, and hospitality. 2) Perfect for visitors An easy, walkable experience ideal for cruise guests and independent travelers. 3) Small-group format We keep group sizes intentionally limited for a more personal tour. 4) 10% of every ticket purchase goes to support 501(c)3 organization Haines Huts and Trails who is dedicated to fostering wilderness experiences in our community. Immerse yourself in the vibrant culture and rich heritage of our town. Along the trail we have three planned tasting spots to showcase the authentic local spirits of Haines, AK. Itinerary

1. On our walk through Haines we will pass through Fort William H. Seward National Historic Landmark between stops.
2. As we walk between stops we will pass by the American Bald Eagle Foundation location. We highly recommend you stop in after the conclusion of our tour.
3. One of our three planned craft beverage stops, Haines Brewing Company use no filtering or pasteurizing to produce one of Alaska’s finest hand-crafted beers. (30 min)
4. One of our three planned craft beverage stops along the Haines Spirits Trail. You will have plenty of time to enjoy one of their finely crafted signature cocktails.
5. One of our three planned craft beverage stops along the Haines Spirits Trail. Enjoy a mead, hard soda, cider, or a flight to try them all. (30 min)
6. We will pass by the world famous Hammer Museum of Haines, AK. If you have time and like hammers...it's worth stopping in after our tour.
