Itinerary

  1. Enjoy a 90-minutes scenic drive via Sir Lowry's Pass, from Cape Town To Hermanus, a stunningly beautiful seaside town known as the best whale-watching destination on earth.
  2. Situated beyond the superb Hottentots Holland Mountains, The Elgin Valley is surrounded by olive groves, vineyards, farms of apples and pears, picturesque orchards and rivers.
  3. Embark on a 3-hour whale watching boat and have an unforgettable experience with the 'Gentle Giants" Southern Right whales and Hampbacks, Dolphins, Seals, Penguins and plenty of birdlife. (3h 0min) Admission included
  4. Enjoy a peaceful lunch at one of the best restaurants on the scenic shores of Hermanus (1h 30min)
  5. Enjoy wine tasting in the spectacular high hills of Hemel-en-Aarde mountains range. This is one of the top wine farms in South Africa. A wine range of great distinction and finesse awaits for you. (1h 0min)
  6. Stoney Point Nature Reserve is home to a unique colony of the rare African Penguins. This is an opportunity to see these wonderful flightless birds up close, in their natural habitat. (30 min)
  7. On your way back to Cape Town, you will drive through one of the world's most scenic drives, R44/Clarence Drive, the Overberg's Whale Coast Route. Admire the craggy mountains, decorated by colorful fynbos and saluted by rolling waves along white sandy beaches of the False Bay. The drive takes 90 minutes approximately.
