Make the most of your shore visit with our half-day adventure tour exploring the Big Island from summit to sea. We'll take you on an unforgettable journey through Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, home to the world's most active volcano, Kilauea. You'll travel from the visitor center to Kilauea crater for panoramic views of the smoking caldera and steaming volcanic vents, and walk inside iconic Nahuku (Thurston Lava Tube). For lunch, enjoy an island-inspired meal on us at a local restaurant. Later we'll visit (The Most Famous Black Sand Beach on the Big Island)Punaluʻu black sand beach and discover the picture-perfect scenery of Rainbow Falls in Hilo.

Itinerary
- Rainbow Falls is named after the colorful rainbows that appear in the mists of its waters. Signs in the viewing area relate some interesting historical facts about the waterfall, as well as the legend of the “Battle of the Wailuku River”. (20 min)
- Drive through the largest Edo-style ornamental garden outside of Japan. Liliʻuokalani Gardens is a peaceful park of towering Banyan trees, ponds, bridges, and pagodas.
- Explore Hawaii Volcanoes National Park starting at the visitor center and exhibit hall, followed by views of Kilauea caldera and Kilauea Iki, the steam vents, and sulfur banks. Walk inside the ancient Nahuku (Thurston Lava Tube) followed by lunch at Kilauea Lodge. (2h 0min)
- Discover a beautiful black sand beach created by volcanic activity. Fed by an underground fresh water spring, Punaluʻu is frequently visited by green sea turtles. (30 min)
