Ride your own single or double ATV in the company of your guide to go off-roading through astonishing trails in the jungle and Mayan Village! If you do not have experience riding ATVs you should not worry, ATVs are AUTOMATIC (non-mandatory driver license). You will visit Jade Caverns where you will learn about Mayan customs of the area and also you will learn about its formation 64 million years ago. Jade Caverns is a underground Cave (Cenote) connected to the sea and underground river. There you will be able to swim or jump in to its water from a cliff of about 20 ft high. You will also ride through the enigmatic Mayan village to stop to walk around to appreciate the Mayan temple and one of the oldest Catholic churches on the Island, as well as having free time to take a look at the crafts made by locals. At the end of the ATV tour you will be able to taste a variety of artisanal organic tequila. Finishing the activities we will take you back to the same tour pickup point.

Itinerary

  1. The cenote is a natural formation that is more than 60 million years old. I will explain the history of the place to you, you will learn about the importance of cenotes in the Mayan culture and you will be able to have fun jumping into the water from a 20-foot natural platform. (15 min) Admission included
  2. We will stop to walk around the Mayan town, visiting a 900-year-old Mayan Temple and I will explain the fascinating history of the place, most of the townspeople are of Mayan descent, they produce black coral jewelry, finally I will show you one of the oldest Catholic churches in Cozumel. (20 min) Admission included
