Katakolon and Olympia Shore Excursion

Itinerary

1. Meet us near Katakolon port and tour will start with first stop Olympia. It will take around 30 mins to get from the port to Olympia. (30 min)
2. Explore the Olympia site and museum.The visit to Olympia site and museum takes approximately 2 hours where you will get familiarized with the history of ancient Olympia and the magnificent of the olympic games heritage. You will also have the chance to walk to the Olympia stadium and see the Zeus temple along with all museum artifacts that witness the magnificent Olympia history and culture.Exploration within Olympia site will be on your own (Guidebook is available - Licensed guide within Olympia is not included and is available, with additional fee, upon request from the customer) (1h 0min)
3. All unique artifacts will be seen there plus the famous statue of Hermes Praxiteles. (1h 0min)
4. Klio's honey farm Next stop will be Klio's honey farm where a nice rural house will be visited with the nicest owners, explaining the process of the local honey production and exploring the farm fields. During the visit a nice treat is offered tasting local pancakes with honey. You will enjoy the thick shades under the garden trees and get the feeling of the greek rural life. Approximate duration time is 1 hour (1h 0min)
5. -Saint Andrew beach Time for a quick swim under the greek sun, enjoying the cleanest water in combination with a nice coffee or light lunch. This stop takes approximately half an hour and gives experience why Greece is one of the best countries to visit during summertime. (30 min)
