Itinerary

  1. Since its founding in 1751, Kobe Shushinkan has maintained the name "Fukuju" as a sake brewery dedicated to handcrafted production. By using high-quality ingredients, the sensitivity of the brewers, and investing time and effort, they aim to carry the rich value of sake into the future. As their brand purpose, "Fukuju" cherishes providing moments that enrich the hearts of those who drink it, making life a little happier. In terms of the brand scene, they aspire to be a presence that accompanies not only special occasions but also the small joys shared in everyday life. Fukuju aims to continue being an entity that softens and fills with happiness not only those who drink it, but also the brewers, the local community, and the world around them. (50 min) Admission included
  2. "Founded over 60 years ago, we make fresh tofu every morning and deliver it with care to our customers. Our shop is surrounded by historic sake breweries—like sake, great tofu begins with pure water. Crafted the traditional way, our tofu is delicate, clean, and full of flavor. Please stop by and taste the difference. If your timing is right, you can enjoy our just-made ganmodoki (tofu and vegetable fritters) straight from the kitchen. Please note: On Sundays and public holidays the tofu shop is closed, so we will not stop there and tofu tastings will not be available." (10 min) Admission included
  3. At HAKUTSURU SAKE Brewing Co., Ltd. is Japan’s largest brewery! There have opened our old sake brewhouse in its original form to the public as the Sake Brewery Museum. Our hope in doing so is to give visitors a feel of the tradition of sake making that has been carried down through the ages and to broadly and deeply convey the "heart of Japan" to the sake making world. There is a tasting corner and a shop where you can buy alcohol and souvenirs in the same building, where you can have your first taste. (50 min) Admission included
  4. Known as keeping the traditional ‘Kimoto-method’ yeast sake making style brewery. It shows many wooden Sake-making tools in the museum and can learn about Sake making. ※Sake breweries are subject to change due to regular closing days or weather conditions. Thank you for your understanding. Taste the beautiful dedicated-craftsmanship Sake in front of the adorable Japanese garden and have a deeeeep breath here! (30 min) Admission included
