Itinerary

1. It was created in honour of a special stone two fishermen found, as it had an image of St. Mary chiseled into its side. From then on, local sailors and fishermen alike threw stones where the Lady had been found, vowing to honour the spot of this unlikely discovery. Inside the church, you’ll be able to explore a vast collection of votive tablets and various works by renown painter Tripo Kokolja, a Kotor native regarded as a master of his craft. You’ll also be able to view the Icon of Our Lady of the Rocks, one of the many wonders you’ll find in these fairytale (20 min)

4. From there, you will journey to the “mouth” of the Bay, where Mamula Island stands. Although it used to be an Austro-Hungarian prison, it has since transformed into a beautiful island resort.
