- From Bowness on Windermere you have the option of taking a cruise across Englands Longest Lake. Enjoy the views from the Lake Cruiser and listen to the narration from the Captain as you travel towards Ambleside (40 min)
- Spend time wandering around this typical Lake District Town, looking for evidence of the old mills, trying some of the cuisine or just taking in the charm of this lovely place on the northern shores of Windermere (1h 0min)
- Marvel at the stunning scenery as we take you ever higher to our next beautiful location
- This is the highlight of the day for many.....Fresh Air, Stunning Views and the chance to walk off some of those calories. (45 min)
- As we leave Blea Tarn we head out through Great Langdale and "Little Switzerland" as we travel to Ambleside
- This is the home of the world famous Grasmere Gingerbread Shop and the final resting place of William Wordsworth (45 min)
- Delight in the aroma of freshly baked Gingerbread before stepping back in time into this quaint little shop where you will be greeted by characters from Victorian days. Oh Yes, don't forget to stock up on that lovely Gingerbread....it is world famous. (10 min)
