Lakes Off-Road 4x4 Experience - Afternoon Tour

Embark on a unique and intense excursion, away from the main routes, to discover the secrets hidden behind the Southern Andes Mountains, travel through Valleys, Lakes (Escondido and Khami -Ex Fagnano) onboard our all-terrain vehicles. On this tour, you will go through the forest and across rivers, traversing muddy tracks and following lakeshores to experience some truly unique views. The tour includes dinner (Argentinian barbecue), free drinks and dessert to enjoy in our shelter a few meters from the lake and in the middle of the forest.

Itinerary

1. In the early afternoon, you will make your way to our office located in the downtown area from where our tour will begin. Afterwards, you will be driven in a 4x4 through National Route N3. If the weather permits, you’ll make a quick stop at “Valle Carbajal Lookout Point”. (1h 0min)
2. Soon after, the tour goes through a wonderful valley surrounded by snowy peaks. You may stop at “Valle Tierra Mayor” for a few minutes, and you can have a little walk. As you continue to follow Route N3 you will drive through the Garibaldi Path: the only road crossing the chain of the Fuegian Andes. (15 min)
3. Garibaldi Path is also a panoramic viewpoint. From this lookout, high up the Andes Mountain Range, it is beautiful to see Lake Fagnano and Lake Escondido, a small wonder at the bottom of the valley, that will later be travelled from South to North along Route 3. (15 min)
4. Continue downhill and leave Route N3 to begin your off-road experience through the forest: Near the north end of Lake Escondido, and after leaving the paved road behind, the itinerary continues along with a series of old paths that a sawmill opened in the forest, that soon become impassable for conventional vehicles the further they approach Lake Fagnano, the fifth largest in Argentina. As the afternoon sun tinges the mountains, the fun off-road and the stops through the forest and the coast along lake Fagnano ensure the enjoyment of this lush landscape (approximately 1 hour). In the forest near the Fagnano coast, there will be free time to walk and enjoy the fleeting colors of the sunset, while the guide prepares an abundant dinner to be enjoyed comfortably in an exclusive refuge located in a natural environment, away from the noise of modern life. 5. After dinner, you will return to the city and driven to your hotel. You will arrive at approximately 10 p.m. However, it depends on the number of passengers and vehicles, traffic, weather or road conditions. **If you have a flight or an event after the tour, you must specify the flight departure time and the reservation is subject to confirmation. **Schedules and the order of the visited attractions may vary, according to the guide's evaluation and the characteristics of the group. **Vehicle: Toyota SW4: Up to 6 passengers + 1 guide per vehicle. Occasionally, if the logistics would make it possible, one of the sections to or from the place where the 4x4 adventure takes place might be done in a minibus for added comfort and convenience for the passengers. Travellers are distributed 1 in the front, 3 in the middle and 2 in the back (they rotate during the tour). (1h 0min)
