- In the city of Haugesund we will pass by the city hall, the saviours church, the Wrangell house, the post office and some of the most interesting architectural gems of the city.
- We arrive at the national monument of Haraldshaugen. The monument was erected in 1872, 1000 years after the battle of Hafrsfjord, where King Harald Fairhair assembled Norway into one kingdom. (15 min)
- The 2nd stop is the Rising Tide sculpture park in Kvalsvik. The sculptures are set in the sea in a small bay not far from the Haraldshaugen national monument. (10 min)
- After driving about 1 hr 15 mins., we will have a toilet stop (3rd stop) next to the magnificent Stordal lake. Subsequently, driving a little further, we will have a photo stop (4th stop) to take a better view of the Stordal lake. (10 min)
- The next stop (5th stop) will be the stunning Langfoss waterfall. We stop for about half an hour so that everyone can enjoy the waterfall up close. After the waterfall, we will drive a little further into the valley for a panaromic view (6th stop) of the waterfall and the Åkrafjord. (30 min)
- After the visit to the waterfall, we start your return drive to Haugesund. We stop at the Åkrafjordtunet cafe to have a toilet/coffee break. The Åkrafjordtunet cafe also has a small shop where some local specialties such as goat cheese, brown cheese, and other local delicacies are available. (15 min)
- From Akrafjordtunet we continue your tour for another 30 mins. for a photo stop of the Etnefjord (7th stop) with a nice view from high up above the fjord. After Etnefjord photostop, we will be on your way back to Haugesund and more information will be given about general information (e.g language, religion etc) of Norway. (5 min)
