Malta: Gozo Full Day Buggy Tour with lunch and Comino Stop

Experience a unique way to see the real island of Gozo and its people. Starting from Mgarr Harbour, you will be taken all round the island exploring wonderful places of interest, through the fertile valleys and across rough off road tracks, seeing ancient island of Gozo. On the way you will visit Qala, Nadur, Ramla Bay, Calypso Cave Ggantija Temples,(entrance fees not included), the Cliffs on the way to Xlendi Bay, Stone quarries, Inland Sea, Fungus rock, the Salt Pans, Marsalforn Bay, the Citadel and Gozo Cathedral and back to the harbor. A mouth-watering Buffet lunch including wine and water, two way transport to hotel and back and boat transfer to and from Gozo, passing through the Blue lagoon and the Comino caves weather permitting for a 45 min swim stop or Ferry Tickets are included in the price. Itinerary

1. Ġgantija is a megalithic temple complex from the Neolithic era, on the Mediterranean island of Gozo in Malta. The Ġgantija temples are the earliest of the Megalithic Temples of Malta and are older than the pyramids of Egypt
2. Calypso's Cave is a natural cave, located on the western side of the Ramla bay, in Xagħra, Gozo. The cave is alleged to be the one referenced in The Odyssey as the cave where the nymph Calypso kept Odysseus prisoner for seven years after his ship was shipwrecked after a fierce storm (10 min)
3. The Cittadella, also known as the Castello, is the citadel of Victoria on the island of Gozo, Malta. The area has been inhabited since the Bronze Age, and the site now occupied by the Cittadella is believed to have been the acropolis of the Punic-Roman city of Gaulos or Glauconis Civitas (30 min)
4. The Inland Sea, sometimes called Qawra in Maltese and also known as Dwejra, is a lagoon of seawater on the island of Gozo linked to the Mediterranean Sea through an opening formed by a narrow natural arch. (20 min)
5. Bay of the 2nd-largest island in the Maltese archipelago with a beach, promenade & resort town
6. This seaside rock formation resembling a window is reachable via a long stairway with a handrail. (10 min)
7. The 350-year-old salt pans found at Xwejni Bay stretch about three kilometres along this coast and are more than just the perfect spot to get a scenic snap (15 min)
8. he Sanap Cliffs are approximately 130-meter tall limestone cliffs plunging vertically into the deep Mediterranean Sea (10 min)
9. Intimate bay featuring a rocky beach, bustling promenade & cliffside rocks.
10. The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Blessed Virgin of Ta' Pinu is a Roman Catholic minor basilica and national shrine located some 700 metres from the village of Għarb on the island of Gozo
11. The Belvedere of Qala offers spectacular views of Comino, Cominotto and the Blue Lagoon set in-between the two major islands. (5 min)
