This is how their mushers keep them in shape during the summer season. And afterwards, you'll cuddle with adorable Alaskan Husky puppies that will one day grow up to be sled dogs themselves! Learn what it takes from both musher and sled dog to become an Iditarod champion!

Itinerary

  1. We will meet you at the base of the Mt. Roberts Tram. We will be standing where the cables come out of the building.
  2. Your journey will begin with a scenic drive deep into the Tongass National Rainforest on Douglas Island. (30 min)

Please meet your guide at the pick-up location 15 minutes prior to the tour departure time, our representative will be there holding a sign with the name of your excursion on it. Our guides will be wearing green! We will meet you at the base of the Mt. Roberts Tram.
