As one of the few distilleries located so close to Shurijo Castle, Zuisen carries on a legacy of craftsmanship once favored by the Ryukyuan royal court. On this tour, you'll walk through the distillery's facilities, observe the time-honored fermentation and distillation process using black koji mold, and sample several varieties of awamori—from smooth, easy-drinking styles to rich, aged expressions.
