Itinerary
- This is a safari tour, however, while sight seeing on your way to the first stop, get a lot of historical & general information about the island of Curacao.
- We then start the tour with a sightseeing trip to the salt planes of Plantation 'Jan Kok'. and Assecion, where we ha a big change to see flamingos and where you will get a lot of information about the islands history and nature of this area. We then continue to Boca Patrick at the norht shore with very interesting geology, bays and blowholes. We stop at some amazing spots for some good pictures. (20 min)
- Passing the famous WillyWOOD sign in St Willibrordus with a great view its beautiful church.
- Visti THE NORTS SHORE. Near the village of Barber we will be going off-road(light) to visit Boca Patrick at the impressive and rough northern shore of the island. Big waves, coral rock formations, tons of wind and beautiful views make this a beautiful and interesting site to visit and explore. (45 min)
- After enjoying a lunch (meals not included), we will continue the sight seeing tour and then enter the main park. The Christoffel National Park is a combination of beautiful nature and amazing historical sites from the time of the slave trade and huge slave plantations. We will also drive through an off road area filled with orchids, birds of prey and sometimes even deer. Other highlights of the tour are some amazing views some of them more than a 1000 feet above sea level. (2 min)
- We do have special permission to visit 'The Orchid Trail' within the Christoffel Nation Park. (Orchids flowering in several periods in the year). (1 min) Admission included
