You may see the wildlife that made the Barataria Swamps the Crown Jewel of the Louisiana Purchase. If you choose the airboat option - you will experience the best of both: a swamp tour and an airboat ride. You will travel at high speeds on the airboat then slow down and stop for pictures. Along the way, you will get a personal tour by your local Captain. Our airboats have stadium style seating, so that the person in front of you does not obstruct your view.   • Minimum height requirement for airboats is 48 inches.
  • Participants with back problems are not permitted on an airboat
  • Participants with heart complications or other serious medical conditions are not permitted on an airboat
  • Pregnant women are not permitted on an airboat
  • Airboats are not handicapped accessible. There are no lifts or ramps available for use. Guests must be able to get on or off of the boat themselves or with the help of someone in their party.
  • Service animals are permitted but not recommended on airboats due to the volume of noise on the boat and threats of surrounding wildlife.
