Itinerary

1. Your adventure to Sandwich Harbor begins with a stop at Walvis Bay Lagoon to spot the flamingos. Let’s continue and drive to the delta of the Kuiseb River passing by the salt flats of Walvis Bay. Sandwich Harbor Lagoon is a Ramsar site and we always try to access it from the beach. It depends on the tides and swell. If this is not possible, we will find a nice spot for an elevated view of the Sandwich Harbor lagoon. We will make several stops to admire the view and take wonderful pictures. Your guide will find you a nice place sheltered from the wind to have a little picnic. Drinks and snacks platter are included. During the tour you may have the chance to observe animals such as black-backed jackal, springbok, oryx, ostrich, fog beetle, seals on the beach and gecko.
