Pisa and Florence from the Livorno Cruise Port

Live a different experience from the tours with the ship's bus. On board our vehicles with permission to enter the historic centers, you will be accompanied within walking distance of the main and famous tourist attractions, just like a VIP! Our driver will give you a lot of information to better appreciate the places you will visit. The first stop will be Pisa where you will take a short tour of the city with a stop in Piazza dei Miracoli to see with your parents the incredible beauty of the Leaning Tower. Continue to Florence, stopping at Piazzale Michelangelo to admire the view from one of the most suggestive points. Continuing through the historic center of Florence, we will drive through the narrow streets passing in front of the Church of Santa Croce and the San Lorenzo Point of Sale, until arriving in Piazza della Repubblica, where you will have free time to visit the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio and the Shopping Streets. Return to the port of Livorno in time to resume the ship.

Itinerary

1. Arrived in the city of Pisa, our driver will take you on a short car tour where you can admire the wonderful Arno river divided by the river.
2. Piazza dei Cavalieri in Pisa is, after Piazza del Duomo, the most famous square in the city. In ancient times it represented the center of civil power, while from the second half of the sixteenth century it became the headquarters of the Order of the Knights of Santo Stefano, commissioned by Grand Duke Cosimo I de' Medici. Today it is a pole of cultural attraction and study due to the presence of the headquarters of the Scuola Normale Superiore.
3. Visit from outside the Tower of Pisa and the Cathedral of Pisa with possible internal visit of the Cathedral and the Tower of Pisa (tickets not included in the price). • Entrance ticket not included (45 min)
4. Piazzale Michelangelo offers a splendid panoramic view of Florence and the Arno River and is definitely a must for visitors, where you can take some of the best photos of your holiday. (15 min)
