Itinerary

  1. After a pick up from your accommodation, we begin our journey.
  2. This iconic lookout offers spectacular 360-degree views of Four Mile Beach, the Coral Sea, and the Daintree Rainforest. (10 min)
  3. Mossman Gorge, located on the southern edge of Daintree National Park, part of the Wet Tropics of Queensland UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy morning tea at the Mossman Gorge Centre. Then hop aboard a shuttle bus accompanied by your naturalist guide, and head into the national park for a guided walk in the dense tropical rainforest. Admire views over the granite boulders and clear waters of the Mossman River, and if time and weather permit, you can take a swim. (1h 30min) Admission included
  4. Continue north through sugarcane fields to enjoy a restaurant lunch featuring local produce in a relaxed rainforest setting. (45 min)
  5. After lunch, join a guided 1-hour wildlife cruise on the Daintree River. Keep your eyes peeled for crocodiles and other local wildlife! (1h 0min)
  6. Shortly after at the Daintree River and board the cable ferry to cross this mighty river
  7. Alexandra lookout provides panoramic views over the Daintree delta, river and out to the Coral Sea. (15 min) Admission included
  8. Cape Tribulation is where the rainforest meets the reef and you can take it all in from the Kulki Lookout. This is the most northern point of our day tour adventure, so from here we begin the journey home (30 min) Admission included
  9. Daintree Ice Cream Company Stopping along the way at one of the Daintree Ice Cream Shops for afternoon tea. Here you will have the opportunity to sample locally made ice-cream featuring seasonal fruits of the tropics (at own expense). (15 min)
  10. For those being collected in Cairns and the beaches, the day begins with a trip along the scenic Great Barrier Reef Drive, to Port Douglas. The road hugs the mountain side and we stop at Rex Lookout to enjoy stunning views of the Coral Sea. From here, we cruise to Port Douglas, picking up any extra guests and stopping at Flagstaff Hill which overlooks 4 Mile Beach.
  11. The tour finishes and we drop you off at your accommodation.
