Itinerary
- Discover Castellane, site of pilgrimage with its spectacular chapel lost in the clouds on top of the rocky scrag the dominates the town. (30 min)
- Follow the contours of the famous canyons of the Verdon Gorge. Pause for photos at Point Sublime, offering a spectacular view of the entrance to the Canyon, where the Verdon flows far beneath the majestic canyon walls. (20 min)
- Marvel at the beauty of the medieval city of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, famous for its earthenware - and for the star hung high above the village on a chain by a knight in the 12th century after a vow made to God should he escape from imprisonment while on crusade. Lunch (not included) in one of the many restaurants while you enjoy the sights of this pretty town. (1h 30min)
