This introductory stop offers a quiet moment to slow down, breathe, and prepare for the Zen sutra-copying practice at Chikurin-ji Temple. (15 min)
2. At Chikurin-ji Temple, practice traditional sutra copying in a quiet temple setting and experience a meditative Buddhist ritual preserved for centuries. Using brush and ink, participants carefully copy Buddhist scriptures as a form of mindful concentration.
