Deco City Discoverer Napier Tour treats you to the Best Views and highlights of Napier City and surrounding areas traveling along the coast through the countryside and around the Art Deco Capital of the World.  Three stops along the way to explore the Celestial Star Compass, Silky Oak Chocolate Company, and the National Tobacco building (photo stop) Our Art Deco bus is very unique, large windows to see all the great views, spacious & comfortable interior and a rear viewing deck for that extra good photo or to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. Itinerary

1. Deco City Discoverer 3 hour tour departs from two locations depending on the Ship arrival. We will message you on Viator a pick up Location and Time. Pick up from your ship or the Napier i-Site information Centre beside your shuttle bus stop. We travel Napier City pointing out all the points of interest. along the coast to our first visit the Waitangi Regional Park. located on the beach over looking Hawke Bay. We then head inland through the rural area of Meeanee and out to the Silky Oak Chocolate Company nestled in among the Orchards. On to Taradale, past the unique Art Deco McDonalds. Ahuriri the original Port of Napier with a photo stop at the beautiful Art Deco building of the former National Tobacco Company Building. Up Napier hill for fantastic views all over Napier City and the wider Hawkes Bay area. Into the heart of our city where we pass many of our beautiful Art Deco buildings. It is our pleasure to show you around our unique beautiful City. Thanks for joining us.
2. Travel along the Marine parade full of interesting sites and views with a couple of photo stops
3. A seaside park with great views of Hawke Bay and the location of The Celestial Star Compass. Public Toilets available here (15 min) Admission included
4. Silky Oak a family business making beautiful Chocolate creations guaranteed to sweeten you up. Cafe Hot and cold Drinks available, gift shop, Pantry Shop with Home made Gelato Ice Cream and rest rooms available (20 min) Admission included
5. A scenic drive through the original Port area of Napier, Boat Harbour and Hospotality district
6. View the ornate Art Deco building which is the most photographed building in the city. I am happy to take a photo of you standing on the steps of this grand Art Deco building This is a photo Stop. No access into the building (10 min)
7. Marewa is Napiers Art Deco suburb. Relaxing drive through viewing many of the Art Deco homes in this area
8. The final leg of our journey into the Art Deco City centre before heading back to your ship. If time permits you are able to hop off the bus for a relaxing walk around the centre of town, enjoy close up look at the Art deco buildings or visit one of the many Cafe or a local Pub. You then return to your ship via the shipo shuttle bus.
