Itinerary

  1. Gateway to the Valdes Peninsula. In the area you can see wild guanacos, and a few kilometers plus a stop with bathrooms and be able to appreciate both gulfs, the Nuevo and the San Jose. Also stop at an interpretation center where you will learn about the local fauna. (20 min)
  2. We will cross the Valdes Peninsula, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where we will make a kind of safari crossing the entire peninsula until we reach Caleta Valdes. The Peninsula is the second best place in Argentina to see Fauna in its natural environment. We can see guanacos, piches, choiques, maras, gray foxes, killer whales, sea elephants, sea lions, penguins and many types of native birds.
  3. We can appreciate the coastal landscape of La Caleta, and how it opens its arm towards the sea. We make 2 stops, one in a small penguin reserve, and another in Punta Cantor, to see marine elephants in a natural station, and to make use of bathrooms. (1h 30min)
