Itinerary

1. The Arrábida Bridge is an arch bridge of reinforced concrete which carries six lanes of traffic over the Douro River, between Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. At the time of its completion (1963), the bridge's main span of 270 metres (890 ft) was the largest of any concrete-arch bridge in the world.
2. Luís I Bridge, is a double-deck metal arch bridge that spans the river Douro between the cities of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. At its construction (1886), its 172 metres (564 ft) span was the longest of its type in the world

Maria Pia Bridge, commonly known as Ponte de Dona Maria Pia, is a railway bridge built in 1877, and attributed to Gustave Eiffel, situated over the Portuguese Northern municipalities of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. At the time of its construction, it was the longest single-arch span in the world
